Christmas and New Years are sneaking up! Kids will be out of school soon, and holiday treats and meals will need to be prepared. My mom was always so good about including her kids in those activities. As frustrating as it can be sometimes, I try and get my kids in the kitchen and let them be involved as well.
SO for the month of December we want you challenge all of YOU to get in the kitchen and cook or bake with your kids! (Or your nieces, nephews, grandkids, whatever.) Capture these teaching/ learning moments on camera and share them with us! You can share your photos on Instagram and hashtag eatitandsayyum (#eatitandsayyum) or you can share them on your Facebook page and tag Eat It & Say Yum in a comment (@Eat It & Say Yum). Either way we will see them, and doing that will enter your photo into the challenge.
Each Friday through the month of December Karissa and I will choose our favorites and share them!
You don’t have to be cooking something super spectacular. The focus here is to spend some time cooking and baking with those kids. It will mean so much to them!
So go build some memories, capture the moment on camera, and then enjoy the yummy food you made. Win, win, win! Right?!
I can’t wait to see what you share with us.
In case you need some inspiration, here are some shots of my kids helping me in the kitchen. 🙂
